About
Designer Casey Driskill spent an itinerant childhood in California, Taiwan, Scotland, Spain, Japan and New England, an upbringing that led her to always seek connections between seemingly disparate elements. Her love of jewelry began with the realization that each piece tells a story about the wearer, the maker, and a particular time and place. After studying architecture and urban design in university, her attention turned to designing at a more intimate scale, and she began a career working in both fine and costume jewelry. Her collection draws qualities from both: an imaginative, narrative design sense and a dedication to lasting materials and craftsmanship.
The Atlas collection brings together two distinct languages of feminine adornment. Edwardian jewelry silhouettes, meant to connote status and refinement, are reimagined with motifs from the talismanic, strength-giving facial tattoos and woven symbols of Amazigh women.
